"Insist on yourself; never imitate. Your own gift you can present every moment with the cumulative force of a whole life's cultivation; but of the adopted talent of another you have only an extemporaneous half possession...  Do that which is assigned to you, and you cannot hope too much or dare too much." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Human Resources has become one of the most complex and demanding career paths. Certainly the paperwork is daunting, the employment standards and practices overwhelming and the organizational module often times difficult to maintain. Then comes the actual human relations.

As much as we try and as many models as we come up with you can not possibly fit everyone into a grid, a personality type, a number or alphabet. But we can teach people to respond in ways that springs from an agreed upon contract between the company and the employee. This 'contract' must be clear and documented. Most importantly the employees and management will also have to agree whether this contract is enforced under the principles of equity or fairness.

Subscribe to my monthly newsletter, "Catori's Journal" to learn effective ways to teach the staff in your company to:

1) Understand how their personal ethics impact the job
2) Work with the principles of equity versus fairness
3) Neutralize conflict and create opportunities for widespread change and growth
4) Become better managers, supervisors and mentors regardless of their job title
5) Improve communication and personal relation skills
